Harvest and organize. It's time to harvest our burgeoning gardens and harness our minds, time to bring our focus to work, learning and healing under the Mutable Earth Virgo Sun.
The mood is mercurial, intelligent, nervous, multi-tasking; we need to add confidence, heart, and focus.
Your discriminating mind and sensitive systems are your gift and challenge.
Born with sensitive antennae, empathy, profound mind-body connection, and an ability to see what improvements needs doing, you're challenged to appreciate the perfection and contentment underneath all.

Those born under a Virgo Moon are nature's critics, surgeons, editors, coyotes and healers. Brilliant and articulate, they can be hard on themselves and others until they see the perfection within each soul and movement.
Our Natal Moon sign describes what makes us feel at home, how we process emotion, and how we handle our daily life.
Assess, analyze, organize, under the intelligent and perceptive Virgo Moon. It's time to heal, weed, edit, and discern. The vibe is thoughtful, sensitive, health-oriented, compassionate and particular; we need to keep our eyes not on what we want to throw away, but what we want to keep and nurture.

What is a rising sign you ask? The rising sign is the sign that was present on the horizon at the time of your birth. It sits similarly on your birth chart on this horizon line, or equatorial line in your chart on the left or east side of your chart.
Do calculate your rising sign, you'll need to know the exact time of your birth, once you know along with your geographic location, you can visit many sites and receive a free birth chart, here is one of our staff favorites.
Your sun sign represents your core personality, and the qualities of our outward shining self. Your moon sign reflects qualities of your inner core self, or emotional self.
Rising sign is your outlook on the world and first impression you give to others.
Rising sign also dictates where the Astrological Houses lay within your chart.
The Houses (twelve pie shaped sections) of our personal birth chart attend to all areas of our life. Each house represents a basic facet of human experience from birth to death. The placement of each house in your natal chart is dependent on your rising sign
Virgo ascendants view the work compatementaly, they like to organize their world and those around them. A practical sign, they are rational and find creative ways to use their skills.
Virgo rising often find sense of worth through a skill or purpose, they are highly motivated and love a big job ahead of them. They have an urge for service and may be drawn to community service work, and can be very loving and mothering to those in need.
The Glyph can be viewed as maiden holding a plant, possibly corn or wheat.
Other interpretations of the Glyph exist, some saying the M, stand for Maiden with the tail crossing inward representing virginity.

We draw near to a seasonal shift, meaning lots of hard work and preparation are ahead of us in Virgo season. Plants are fruiting and readying themselves for their final harvest of the summer.
The days are long and many of us may find ourselves working long hours to take advantage of the sunlight. This is also a great time to relish in the beauty that nature offers.
The landscape is still alive with heat, growth and sunlight, and fruits. We want to enjoy these gifts while they are offered.
Virgo rules the late afternoon, when the shadows of the sun are getting longer, and the light grows sweet and golden. The day is almost done and we work hard to finish our daily tasks. Games are being finished in the yard, construction projects outsides are hurried to achieve a stopping point before nightfall.
Being connected with the plant kingdom, it is only natural that Virgo rules the internal flora of our digestive system. Our body starts to sort and organize nutrients. Sending them to their respective paths through our body.
Our gut holds our enteric nervous system, often known as our "gut instinct." It's only fitting that the mulit-tasking queen with sharp as nails rules these body parts.
The planets within our solar system have a specific part to play in the complete knowledge of "The Self." Planets represent different aspects of our self-journey or even our personality.
They're characteristics range from our soul purpose (sun), how we think or love (Mercury, Venus) how we like to learn (Jupiter) our limitations (Saturn), and much more! Please visit our blog "Journey into Astrology" if you would like to know more about Planets and how to integrate them into your daily astrology practice.
Planets in Virgo love to work hard, especially for the greater good. These aspects of yourself will be meticulous, organized and have a hidden methodology to their madness. Planets in Virgo tend towards perfectionism and self-sufficiency. Remember it's ok to ask for help!

“The Houses (twelve pie shaped sections) of our personal birth chart attend to all areas of our life. Each house represents a basic facet of human experience from birth to death.”
The placement of each house in your natal chart is dependent on your rising sign. A person with an Aries rising has what is called a “natural chart”. A rising sign is the sign ascending on the eastern horizon on the time of your birth, it can be calculated using a rising sign calculator here!

Both Virgo and Gemini are ruled by Mercury. Both of these signs are known for their wit, sharpness of mind and ability to learn quickly, all of these very Mercurial traits.
We are offered to see a different side of Mercury through Virgo. Analysis, crafting, work and acts of service shine out through Mercury in Virgo. Virgo in Mercury is truly at home in the written word.
Mercury is "The Thinker," and involves our communication skills: what we say, our words, our voice, and our thoughts, including the Teacher/Student, Master/Apprentice mode. Mercury affects how we connect with all the media tools of the day—our computers, phones, and even the postal publishing and recording systems.
The beginning of the year is forcing you into a period of growth, Virgo. You are not meant to stay the same: as much as you may want to have a stable foundation, there is always room for mutability. Familiarity may call your name and with its cries you will be likely to fall into old habits. Try to push past outdated coping mechanisms, especially if they are not to your benefit. Be willing to throw yourself into newness—you will find that excitement is likely to follow. Trust in your capabilities and knowledge; it will make a world of a difference as you brave the nebulous realm of the unrevealed. Change is an inescapable aspect of nature.
This does not undermine how fear is a normal response to uncharted territory, in fact you should honor what makes you feel apprehensive. As the year continues you will find that after transformation follows a thirst for knowledge. Growing is a painful and exhausting experience, one that can leave you feeling mentally depleted.
When you feel fully charged and capable of taking on more, you’ll find that the information you need will be provided. Rest assured that even though the answers will not be spoon fed to you, the ability to find the solutions are within your utility belt.

As Jupiter and Neptune conjunct in Pisces, exact in April, echoing throughout 2022, they challenge us to use our sensitivity, vision, and imagination to open a visionary portal, while at the same time staying grounded enough to not get lost, to stay present and use this vision wisely.
Virgo: Intuitively sort through new opportunities for collaboration, alliance, and partnerships. Negotiate for your needs fairly and enthusiastically rather than have to take it all in or block it all.
Practice sensitive dynamic engagement with forthright boundaries; grow intimacy and collaboration this year and take it even deeper in 2023.
