The instructions for sending in your creative work via snail mail are slightly different than for submitting through email. Please only send your work through EITHER email OR snail mail. Pick one, not both.

"We’Moon is a unique datebook...It’s also a book of devotions: sacred space where women share written and artistic inspirations from their life-experiences, their love and concern for the world, their delight at saying Goddess! out loud as a name for divine energy."
~from an interview of Bethroot Gwynn, We'Moon Special Editor, titled
The Magic Behind the Veil of Production!
Autumn Skye, Emily Balivet, Saba Taj, Gaia Orion, Jakki Moore, Leah Dorion and Qutress! Writers include, Oak Chezar, Naima Penniman of ClimbingPoeTree, Joanne M. Clarkson, Rose Flint, Toko-pa Turner and many more!
Contributions from many women from all walks of life is what makes We'Moon so very special to thousands of women. Visit our resources page for more links and bios of women who have been published in We'Moon in the past!
Each piece of art and writing is circulated at Selection Circles where hundreds of women give us their opinions about the submitted works. If you are interested in joining a virtual Selection Circle, sign up for alerts via our newsletter. Our jury process is quite complicated which makes following the submission guidelines important!
By crowdsourcing our jury process, we get to bring the opinions of hundreds of other women into the production process. We bring to the foreground the most well-loved work, and those are the pieces we work with, primarily, during the creation of We'Moon in our small group process.
We do not consider work that does not meet our guidelines, so read through these instructions carefully.
We do accept submissions that are being reviewed simultaneously by other publishers. Do not send originals, as no submissions will be returned.
The Call for Contributions contains the license for all artists and writers to fill out and send in with the submissions. NOTE: Submissions will not be processed without a completed & signed license.
If you find this form daunting, you are not alone. Here's a how-to video about how to complete a license. (Passcode: @DhD&Yz3)
Please call or email, and we will happily assist you.
This is a common issue. We can accept your written permission in the body of the email containing your license. Example:
"I (your name) give permission to We'Moon to publish my work. This is my electronic signature."
We will contact you in the Spring to let you know whether or not your work has been selected for publication.

Let’s celebrate the Moon in all Her bright glory, Her rotund fecundity, Her mighty glowing orb turned to face us head on—behold the Full Moon! Full Circle!
At Her pinnacle of magnetic power, She pulls on the tides of Earth’s oceans, of our bodies. She energizes magic, ritual, and dynamic collaboration. The Full Moon is a portal, bringing insight, exposing deeply hidden truths, psychic visions—enLightenment! At Moon's apex of bright fulfillment, She opens us also toward the deep inner work of spirit transformation where mystery, surprise, illusion are at home. Anchor yourself in Her clarity.
O Silver Circle Moon
Full up with Soft light, Reflective light
Haunting light, Muse light, Spirit light
We lunatic with you—Sing Sigh Imagine Fly
Ixchel, Mani, Aphrodite—Selenaphiles all
O Hanwe, Sun's Radiant Mirror
Coyolxauhqui of the golden bells
Yemaya, swelling with the tides
You are the Most, Pregnant Moon!
Pull back your curtain of secrets: Enlighten!
You give us the blackboard of Night
to draw on Her mysteries.
Earth steps aside
Gives Sun and Moon the stage for this light-play dance
Soon The Dark curves on cue to flare Shadow again
Ah Yes, The Dark. Confident, ready for its turn
While we marvel in the bright Pause,
harvest the luminous lessons of Cool Revelation
Full Mooning us all night long.

What is coming Full Circle in your life, your community, our world? What has prepared the way? How can we use this momentum to fuel regenerative work? Tell us about some new projects that are ready to launch!
Pause and look back on how far we’ve come. Tell us about journeying, climbing to the highest heights. Share your learnings about beginnings and endings, and about beginning again. What will you dedicate your life to next?
Where do you see deceptions playing out? The shadows of the moon are illusory. What is being bathed in the light of truth? What is bubbling in your cauldron, ready to share?
Some cultures have a name for each of the full moons. Can you share full moon rituals and learnings from your ancestors? Teach us about the melding of physical and spiritual realms.
Are there moon rituals you practice by yourself or in a coven? How can we use the power of the full moon to charge up our spiritual awareness? To activate our magical tools?
The moon is a tether, keeping the earth in balance. She gives us the season and the tides. What tethers you? What will give us balance in this increasingly off-kilter world? What can we learn from the moon about seasons of life, patience, and the importance of connections? If the moon could speak to us, what would she say?
