This is by far our most popular style. It is sturdy and can hold up under heavy daily use. you can flip the book open on any page, and it lays flat. The metal spiral has plenty of room to hold a pen for handy access.
Paperback
The content in the paperback version is exactly the same as in the spiral-bound. The only difference is that the paperback is bound with a flat, fabric binding. It looks very much like your standard paperback book so, when you put it on a shelf, the title is visible on the cloth binding.
This style is popular with our long-time We'Moon devotees. We've heard stories from We'Moon fans about how many datebooks they have lined up on their shelves, and about how they first began using We'Moon back in the 80s when they were the tiny-sized, hand-drawn pocket calendars. (You can read about We'Moon's Her-Story in our 30-year anthology: In the Spirit of We'Moon)
The paper-back style is also popular with some students and other folx who carry their day planner in a backpack. Word is, the spirals tend to snag more easily. The paperback version solves that annoying problem.
Un-Bound
This version sparks the most curiosity . . . Why would anybody want an unbound, loose-leaf book?! Well, let me tell you:
Folks that use the un-bound version punch holes in the pages so they line up with their standard day-runner binder rings. They can then intersperse standard day-at-a-glance planner-refill pages into the pages of We'Moon. You get the best of both worlds! A calendar that keeps you organized during your appointment-filled days, in a book full of colorful, gorgeous art and inspiring writings, astrological and lunar guidance, and a feeling of camaraderie and community with other We'Moon users.
I bought the 2024 planner since I am trying to get my life organized, so it was on sale which was great! I am truly mesmerized by the beautiful art and am so happy I received a suggestion to buy this planner from a friend. It makes me feel much more connected/present while using this planner because there’s stories and poems to read as well. 10/10 would recommend!
Look forward to receiving the yearly We'Moon Datebook and Moon Calendar each year and sharing the Datebooks with family and friends.
Your calendar has everything I want, but I'm not interested in all the extra pages with artwork and poetry. I appreciate the astrology aspects and full week on 2 pages. Wish I could find something like the old Jim Maynard mini calendar. Unfortunately, this book is too bulky for my needs. Also just noticed that it's in Pacific time and I need Eastern time! Did not see any indication of a choice on your website.
Perfect for the new year!
Monday is my busiest day. And for those who use it as a diary, it’s really inconvenient. I’ve been using WeMoon for over thirty years since I lived next door in Wolf creek back in the 80s. And each year the words or extra art they place on Mondays seems to grow more and more. I understand the desire not to hurt artists feelings that they too get to be published, but it IS a date book. The peoples needs who are actually paying for it and using it should have the priority over a fear of setting boundaries with striving artists. Maybe you could add a few pages in the back for the artists who you want to support so we can all have our busy Mondays as well as the other week days. The space on top is still not as. Much space as the art takes.
Besides that one thing it would be an excellent date book . All my friends feel the same way. I personally use post-it’s to have a full Monday, and the art gets covered any way, some friends say they use white stickers so they can use the space to write, but I don’t have access to white stickers and think We moon should know how people feel. Thanks.
