This week brings excitement and contradictions, enthusiasm with a need for caution, cheerful with undertones of determined competition and love of homeland which will gleefully infuse World Cup matches and small-town rodeos alike. Competitive Mars in Taurus sextiles expansive Jupiter in domestic, defensive Cancer offering an opportunity to liberate old arguments and bring in healthy competition but adds juice to conflicts involving our egos or around nationalistic pride that Jupiter in cancer in the last degree of cancer tells us to love our homeland but doesn't tell us how. Both Mars and Jupiter change signs this week but keep up that dance and stay in orb of sextile.
The weekend starts out under an honest and clarifying Sagittarius Moon which can help us get right with one another and clear up misunderstandings before Mercury turns retrograde. Get bills paid, orders placed but do not rush so much that editing is skipped, it's easy to make mistakes of omission which will cost or need to be redone later on.

Mars enters Gemini on Sunday and helps us multitask but can make us irritable where we don't feel heard, and our internal worry-hamsters can have trouble staying off their wheel unless we keep our minds busy. Mercury retrogrades on Monday and slows us down, sends us back to the past to repair and reconnect, which can be great on vacation but can be frustrating while searching for new answers or negotiating permanent peace deals. Mars approaches a conjunction with Uranus next week, adding klutziness when we hurry, sparks to fireworks and inventions and start revolutions, start and stop wars, but with Mercury retrograde, can also make dumb ideas sound good. Choose carefully and stay situationally aware.
The Moon waxes full in Capricorn on Monday and can bring up our bring out control issues, a desire to organize and tell people what to do, just as Mercury retrogrades and Jupiter enters Leo that likes to make big deals out of mountains out of molehills. The weak finishes under a collective Aquarius Moon which will be great for any large communal gathering bring our focus to the group dynamics rather than our individual story.
Friday, June 26: let people arrive at their own time, Slow down, we can get preoccupied and cranky this morning as the Scorpio Moon opposes Mars and slam things which slam us back. Moods lighten quickly towards midday as the Moon trines Jupiter enters Sagittarius, release frustrating conundrums and take time outdoors, with animals, or with the international community, helping us break routine and remember what's important. Adjust plans around dinnertime as the Moon squares Uranus, then enjoy shared dreams under the stars.

That Moon forms an enthusiastic grand trine with Venus in Leo and Saturn in Aries which adds pizzazz to any active or athletic event, spice to any argument, and potentially bringing an opportunity to forgive an old grudge. Pay attention and be safe. Build beautiful things, work together, plan together, play together. Action and the potential for romantic sparks and deepening friendships continue late into the night as the Moon trines Venus, keep eyes open for new connections or the enrichment of old ones.

Sunday, June 28: We can feel things beginning to hold still as Mercury stations, this morning works best if we keep it slow paced, sensual, with good brunches. Rushing will be counterproductive. People may want to be honest but can find themselves talking in circles, or running in circles instead of getting done what needs to get done as Mars enters Gemini this afternoon. Lists or some form of organization help, but maybe we just enjoy a summer moment.

Monday, June 29: Expect real mixed messages from the stars, feel the urge to both hurry up and to wait, hard work and cozy sloth, as the Moon enters industrious and determined Capricorn, waxing full opposing the Sun at 5:56 PM MDT. Notice the “should” energy and soften around it; we can think we should get serious about issues we've taken lightly, feel like we should be ambitious, or think we know how other people should be doing their job. Just as Mercury retrogrades and asks us to stand still, hold still, take a deep breath, and introspect and retrospect. Let’s forgive ourselves and notice that the tortoise wins this race. Jupiter enters Leo.

Tuesday, June 30: Retrograde Mercury is great for tidying up loose ends, finishing unfinished business, completing chapters. Listen sensitively to where and how progress can be made. Jupiter has just entered Leo and can amp up our need to feel seen and appreciated and add some ridiculously melodramatic moves in the headlines.

If a symphony of our emotional issues sings at once, make is a healthy chorale.

If old wounds or tired complaints resurface, do not get hooked on them out of habit, particularly with close relationships.
