This week has the astrological potential for substantial breakthroughs, or just some wild Halloween costumes, if we’re willing to work with the transits.
But we will be able to meet in the garden beyond right and wrong and cut through crap and confusion if we can imagine how opposing viewpoints could healthily work together while mental Mercury, expansive Jupiter, and visionary Neptune form a grand trine in water signs.
Each point in astrology forms a continuum -from challenge to gift- we can use the positive expression to redirect the challenging energies. The challenging aspect to these trines can be an illusion- created as Mercury trines Neptune- followed by angry muscular responses, triggered by negative Mars. Let's keep an eye out for the dangers but work towards that positive potential and meet beyond our divisions, however briefly. Set a precedent.

With the ongoing lingering Mars-Mercury conjunction, we can go along with great patience until something hits us wrong, and suddenly our tail and shoulders twitch. Speak up, be honest, but don't just vent; avoid saying the unforgivable.
Friday and Saturday, we could experience an unsettling awareness of power dynamics at home and abroad as an outspoken Sagittarius Moon lowers our impulse control while the Sun in Scorpio squares intense Pluto and quincunx nervy, impatient Uranus.
This weekend, an organizing Capricorn Moon can help us batten down the hatches for oncoming winter weather, then help us bring that productivity into early next week.
As Mercury enters Sagittarius and opposes Uranus by the end of the week, we may want to live in our alter ego, our Halloween costume, or inhabit some unusual facet of ourselves. This restless search for something different and better could potentially break the logjam in politics, or it could make it worse with explosive pressure. Look for changes that start behind the scenes- or deep within us- first.

Friday, October 24: Notice an unsettled awareness of power dynamics at home and abroad as the Sun in Scorpio squares Pluto, asks us to get real, get serious, and open our hearts in the face of life and death. Some could also feel it as free-floating depression or become painfully aware of a power struggle, ours or in the environment. In contrast, an outspoken, even optimistic, Sagittarius Moon and an expansive Mercury- Jupiter trine counters this Plutonian dark edge: it can also lower our impulse control and potentially open doors, but we need to help that Jupiterian light reach into the depths. Much action happens early in the day; tonight, we may need to dance, walk, or laugh off recent pressures.

Saturday, October 25: A sane-making Mercury-Saturn trine can help us implement good ideas and follow through on what we said we would do. It loans us mental perseverance, so we need to be careful where we obsess. Because mental Mercury is in Scorpio- pulling away from Mars, if we obsess on a wrong done to us or a world problem, we can get stuck staring into that abyss. If we obsess over a solution or creation, we can make it so. Use this concentration wisely, notice the muscles of the mind.

Sunday, October 26: Let’s use the morning to drift and dream with our own thoughts as the Moon squares dreamy Neptune. Kick into constructive gear by noon and get it done as the Moon enters industrious Capricorn. Organize, put away the summer furniture; be pragmatically active in a way that doesn't necessarily take a lot of thought but does make life more comfortable. Put practical effort into any cause close to the heart. Actions can reveal intentions and notice strategic moves on the global screen. Be free with advice if asked, but only then, no matter how tempting.

Monday, October 27: Slowly roll into the week; this morning is time to catch up, check in, get on the same page, and implement what’s agreed upon. Hold off on new projects for a day or so. Practicalities unfold easily, but bigger emotional or political issues can entrench and go nowhere, so don’t push. Our differing rhythms can irritate; don't expect others to move at the same pace. Rest up and get organized, tomorrow could get busy.

Tuesday, October 28: This day could read like an action movie. Our willpower has torque, so we’ll be more comfortable with a plan to implement it; fight the good fight, be heroic, or compete constructively while Mars trines expansive Jupiter. Expect the emotional weather to change minute by minute as the Moon makes a series of aspects. Pay attention to which way the wind blows each moment and work with it. Tonight, kick back, review the day's progress, and celebrate one another’s small victories as the Moon enters Aquarius and trines Uranus.

Drop a grudge, open the mind, and ponder change, whether a change in Halloween costume or something much vaster.

Ask tough questions, give people time to think, but don’t accept a shallow answer as Mercury sextiles Pluto this afternoon. Keep eyes open for a lost fact or item, a lost answer, or a good ghost story. Tonight, inspire the group and see what we can do together.
