Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or another auspicious occasion, a card brings extra joy to a celebrated day. The well-chosen card can also accompany tender words to comfort after a loss. Hand-written missives convey the love and connection we have for one another.
Emails and texts are nice, but imagine your friends' eyes lighting up when they open an envelope from you, with a keepsake piece of art featured on a card containing your handwritten greetings.
I’m very lucky to live at 4500 feet on the edge of the Anza-Borrego desert. October thru April are glorious months to visit this territory: the migrations, the spring blooms, the winter sunshine and endless walking trails have drawn me for over fifty years . . . I’m amazed at how often I have found quail hiding among the cacti!

I’ve been a member of The Farm spiritual community since 1973. Many Hands speaks to the altruism of community and the idea of service, generosity, and sharing. There’s a prayer that goes with this painting and it is for the generations coming up: May they understand the joy of service and further the ideas of community, generosity, and Many Hands.

Wanderer © Nina Rose 2022
Elements and creatures abound, the wayward soul within each of us searches. There is an intrinsic yearning in all of us, wondering, reaching to solve the great mystery. A young maiden looks to the sky, solemn wisdom rises above her, and cleansing waters flow beneath. The setting sun illuminates her curiosities.

In Greek mythology, Iris is the goddess of the rainbow and the link between heaven and earth. Just as She connects spiritual and physical worlds, so too does Iris’s spirit, bringing comfort and reassurance in times of uncertainty. This “Plant Spirit” portrait is part of a series of work which has branched off into the upcoming collaborative Flower Compass Deck
